Who am I?

Chris Houck Nihart is committed to writing stories for middle-grade readers that spark imagination while grounding them in real emotional truths. She adds elements of the paranormal and the spirit world into every story she writes. And her love for local history also creeps onto the pages.

She also collects vintage books, especially children’s, because every book deserves a loving home.

This cemetery is located in Centerburg, Ohio. Once upon a time, a small schoolhouse sat on the same property nestled amongst the tombstones. This setting is the inspiration for my second novel.
